Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lacquer Nail Polish Formula
I have swatched a number of theses Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lacquer polishes and have found the polish formula to be exceptional (all except for Lux which was a bit of a streaky one).
Behold the colour palette!
The numbers correspond to the numbers on the bottles themselves and will be explained in the close-ups below.
The Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lacquer formula is smooth, shiny and easy to apply. The brush is not unwieldly, it is on the slightly larger side, like the OPI wide brush, but a tad smaller so that it makes it easy to paint my pinkies which are itsy bitsy ones. It dries quickly and I have had no issues with bald spots, shrinking, noticeable edge-wear, etc. It has been a joy to wear in nearly all colours that I have swatched and particularly nice in the light colours which historically are prone to streakiness.

The Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lacquer colour range and finishes are outstanding. The wear test on these has been consistently good with an average of 5-7 days before chipping . I love the bottle. How can you not? They are gorgeous and practical. I love the mix of metallic, shimmer, glitter and creme finishes and each one is executed excellently. I was trying to pick a favourite and I couldn’t. Granted I think the shimmers are standouts e.g. Le Charm, Petra, but in saying that, I also love Oui! with its metallic finish and gorgeous magenta-purpley-ness (same with Ultraviolet, absolutely gorgeous blurple). I really can’t fault these on the whole, they may be slightly more expensive than the mainstream polishes like OPI, but I found they were worth it.
